COPAKE FALLS DAY BARBECUE
SATURDAY, MAY 28th at 6 PM
to BENEFIT COPAKE FALLS DAY

The Copake Falls Day Committee will host a beef and pork barbecue on Saturday, May 28th at 6 PM at the Pavilion in the Taconic State Park in Copake Falls.   Local pitmaster Ken Pruesser  will prepare Texas brisket and North Carolina pulled pork to eat-in or take out.  Cole slaw, salt potatoes, apple crisp and beverages round out the meal.

All net proceeds from the barbecue will benefit the fourth annual Copake Falls Day scheduled this year for Saturday, August 20th.  Copake Falls Day was established in 2009 when local citizens began meeting to find ways to promote the hamlet which is home to the historic and beautiful Taconic State Park.  Most of the events scheduled for Copake Falls Day are offered free of charge to attendees, thanks to generous support from local merchants, raffle ticket sales and special benefit events such as this year’s barbecue.

Tickets for the barbecue are $15.00 each and are on sale at the Depot Deli, Bash Bish Bicycle, Copake Pharmacy, Copake Town Hall or by calling 518-966-2730.  More information about Copake Falls Day is available at www.CopakeFallsDay.org.
