Elen Freeston’s legendary Scottish shortbread cookies, homemade soups, Christmas wreaths and much more, made the St John in the Wilderness annual Christmas Market a resounding success. A huge thanks to the Christmas Market coordinator, Lucy Eldridge, and the many parishioners who donated their talent and time to keep the market running smoothly. With all things at St John in the Wilderness, it takes a village!

An exhibition at the Roeliff Jansen Historical Society, “Revived in Wood: Greek and Gothic Revival Churches” will run July through October. On 15 August at 2 pm, Dale Peterson will talk on Richard Upjohn, renowned architect of St John in the Wilderness, followed by a tour of the exhibition. What have we missed during the pandemic?
