Hevreh (a world music ensemble)

The critically acclaimed chamber music group, Hevreh Ensemble will present a special outdoor concert at the bucolic setting of The Church of St. John in the Wilderness in Copake Falls, New York. The church is located next to Bash Bish Falls.

Hevreh is a Hebrew word meaning “Circle of Friends.” Friendship, relationship, connection: these are the DNA of the HEVREH Ensemble. Formed and cultivated by a group of friends, both new and lifelong, HEVREH Ensemble is the best kind of chamber group: their “clean, tight, creative… aesthetic that defies description” (– Audiophile Audition) makes it abundantly clear that this is a group of people who know each other well and who work intensely and closely together.
